Emotions As Teachers!

"When you welcome your emotions as teachers, every emotion brings good news, even the ones that are painful."

Gary Zukav, best-selling author and speaker.

"See every difficulty as a challenge, a stepping stone, and never be defeated by anything or anyone."

Eileen Caddy, was a spiritual teacher and new age author, best known as one of the founders of the Findhorn Foundation.

"Trials are but lessons that you failed to learn, presented once again. So, where you made a faulty choice before, you can now make a better one, and thus escape all pain that what you chose before has brought to you."

- A Course In Miracles

When things go wrong
By Anon

When things go wrong, as they sometimes will,
When the road you're trudging seems all uphill,
When the funds are low and the debts are high,
And you want to smile, but you have to sigh,
When care is pressing you down a bit-
Rest if you must, but don't you quit.

Life is queer with its twists and turns,
As every one of us sometimes learns,
And many a fellow turns about
When he might have won had he stuck it out.
Don't give up though the pace seems slow -
You may succeed with another blow.

Often the goal is nearer than
It seems to a faint and faltering man;
Often the struggler has given up
When he might have captured the victor's cup;
And he learned too late when the night came down,
How close he was to the golden crown.

Success is failure turned inside out -
The silver tint in the clouds of doubt,
And you never can tell how close you are,
It might be near when it seems afar;
So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit -
It's when things seem worst that you must not quit.

Consider that moments of stumbling, moments of falling may actually be for your benefit. We never know what is right around the corner, so it is
impossible to judge when things do go "your way" as good or bad. So many times in my life, the difficult moments and the obstacles have led me to the perfect next step.

In fact, without those obstacles and hard moments, I may have never met the perfect person that I needed to meet, had an insight or revelation or gotten some new piece of information that was exactly what I needed at the time.

Today, see the obstacle as the blessing. Refrain from judging unforeseen circumstances as "bad", simply notice them, notice your reaction to the event and stay present. When you stop telling yourself a story about how bad life is, you give yourself room to redefine your life and to reframe your circumstances. When you no longer judge "tough times", "mistakes" or "obstacles" as "bad", you start creating a door through which a new outcome can reach you.

If you want new outcomes in your life, it is imperative that you reframe the seeming unfortunate circumstances in your life into neutral or positive events that are necessary to push you forward and reveal your next step.

Life is very mysterious and can work out in even greater ways that you are now aware. See setbacks as setups for something greater; see breakdowns as moments of breakthrough and realize that sometimes The Uni-verse brings you to your knees, not to punish you, but to help you RISE in the right direction.

Love, Mastin
I reserve judgment of this moment and go about my day with joy.
This moment, as it is, is perfect.
The Uni-verse is always for and never against me.
Life happens "for" me, never "to" me.
I am supported in every moment and with every breath.
